Lunch and Learn: LEGO edition

At the height of COVID lockdown in Spring 2020, I presented during our company’s monthly culture building activity known as “lunch and learn.” This spawned a series of LEGO themed micro-builds I made for my co-workers, showcased below.

Imitation is the best form of flattery

What started as a fun gesture to alleviate the existential dread of living in lockdown would turn into a recurring tradition. I surprised everyone in the company at the time with their own custom SigFig, and continued to make more over time for new hires and even added custom designed packaging.

Honey, I shrunk the hardware

In 2021 I re-imagined the Josh hardware product line as a custom micro-build using LEGO, custom printed pieces, and homemade stickers. Each employee was gifted a set where we had a live speed build over zoom. For some colleagues it was the very first time they had ever built LEGO!
