On full display
2019 was the first year we could demonstrate Josh.ai’s full potential on the show floor. I led the design process of the booth, mediating months of meetings and supplying our fabricator with high level renders to be turned into production ready blueprints. I hand crafted each graphic that was going to be printed and put up anywhere within and around the booth. The demo script was a joint effort between the executive, sales, and design teams, and I brought it all together on the floor by being the main presenter. During setup I was on site from opening hour to past midnight troubleshooting production hiccups and working with our engineering team to ensure every connected piece of technology functioned for the demo. After 3 full days of non-stop demos, I had presented to over 1,000 individuals and earned our booth an honorable mention for the Best Booth Award, elevating us alongside industry giants like Samsung, Sony, and Google.
I couldn’t be more proud of the end result, and to this day our CEDIA 2019 booth remains the highlight of my career thus far.
A masterclass in guerilla marketing
With a marketing budget only in the hundreds of dollars, we staged a triumphant upset that year with our privacy focused ad campaign strategically positioned in the restrooms. I was delighted to be a part of the brainstorm group.
